Once you can read charts you can't help growing curiouser and curiouser. By 18 I'd calculated hundreds, some with names like 'Betty on the Bus' and 'Creepy Guy at Powderhouse'. I just had to know. And after awhile your perceptions of the intangibles develop, sharpen and deepen.
